Street Glide, last winters project finally done!!!
I picked up an 2011 street glide last august, and after riding her around a little and reading the HD forums I was ready for my first project. Decided on the SE pro stage 4 kit. If anybody is considering doing this mod, I highly recommend it! It really brought the engine to life and puts you up in the 100/100 club and guaranteed to put a big ole smile on your face going down the road. Those 259E cams sound great and pull hard from beginning to end.
So after I broke in the new engine the cold weather started to set in and there were a few winter mods I wanted to do so I started tearing into her again. I really didn't have a plan (REAL BAD IDEA). I ordered a few things which took sometime to come in (custom parts), and before the parts showed up, I ordered a few more things. Then money got tight so I had to work more hours so I could order more parts, then I didn't have the free time to work on her because I was putting so many hours at work! I'll tell you man it was like a vicious circle from hell!
Anyhow 7 months later, (4 months longer than I thought it would take, lol) and an endless list of new parts, to many to even list. If I could give you guys one piece of advice when starting a winter project, order your parts well in advance. I literally had to wait months for some of the parts, especially the Yaffe stuff. Here's a few pics of her, hope you enjoy them!
