Power Commander v

Is anyone running a Power Commander v on there 2012 bike, And if you are did you disconnect the o-2 sensors?Did doing that throw any codes?

I am running the PCV on my '12 Limited. As instructed I unhooked the O2 sensors. I was told this will set a code in the computer memory but have seen no effect on the bike. 5k mi now no problems. I did purchase from Harley a set of O2 connector plugs, maybe $5 investment, siliconed the end on them and plugged up the original eq connectors where the O2 sensors were. I have completely removed the 2 O2 sensors

Same as screaming twins. Took the young guys at the hd parts desk about 20 minutes to get me the plugs though. They couldnt find toilet paper without a part number. You'll be happier than the witch in the broom factory on tv when your'e done.

I took the 02's off and caped the hook-ups, plugged the bungs with M12x1.25 bolts....no codes from what I noticed.

Older bikes like my '07 would throw O2-sensor codes and illuminate the CEL, and these bikes require O2-sensor eliminator plugs to work properly. Newer bikes will set two historical codes but won't light the CEL and don't require eliminators, but I'm not sure what the cutoff point is.

I have close to 17000 on my 11 King, no problems at all with them off.

I"m hesitating to buy a PCV for my new SG due to my 07 SG never did run right with that tuner. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

A lot of factors come into play as to why your bike didn't run right.....I believe the 07 had the PCIII.

I might be over-engineering this, but I got 2 snap in w/o wires for the O2 sensor, silicone the ends of the blank plugs, just like scrmnvtwins. I then retain the XIEDs on the wiring side, same deal, got blank siliconed plugs.

My thought is just in case PC-V failed, I can bypass the PC-V and return to factory setting, with the attached XIEDs back in the O2 sensors, at least the bike won't run too lean.

Just don't want to get stranded in middle of nowhere if the PC-V fails. So far (over 12k miles), no problems.
