If your only 2 hours from Doc...take it there. It will be worth every penny. Anything else will be a crap shoot

So many votes for DOC. I may have to check this guy out. RETROP camshaft changes the amount of time the valves stay open so shouldnt I change the amount of fuel/air gets pushed through? Not really sure what you mean.

Doc is the best in business , he only tunes with the TTS Mastertuner so buy one or call him he sells them and will have one waiting on you when you arrive , he usually has them in stock

How come this is the first time someone mentioned you have to get a different tuner to get DOC to work on your bike. I can't afford $$$ for a tune and a new tuner. Whow knows where to get a good PCiii in the Jacksonville area?

What is your reasoning behind why you will need a dyno tune after cams are installed?

youre joking, right?

I was confused too but Im no expert. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.

i was trying to figure out if he was being sarcastic or not.

Ask around some more in your area, it's your money.
If you go the Doc route, now your probably lookin' @ $1K by the time it's finsihed.
New tuner, and tune, plus time and gas to go.
It'll be good, but spendy, and you will get what you pay for.

To answer your original question:
My guy charges 1 hour labor to set everything up 1 x $80
Then they charge $100 an hour for tuning using the dyno, which usually takes about 3 hours, 3 x $100
So usually $380
When I need a retune because I changed something they usually get it spot on in an hour, so $80 hook up and $100 tune labor. Retune: $180
