Very nice!! I like the way the black forks set off the Silver paint. As an aside I am putting those same wheels on my RK Classic next month. Actually I'm not one hundred percent on the chrome or the same with the black shading. Nice job, ride it with pride.

Very nice. I'd go that route too but I'm waiting for Dennis (CNC Wheel Guy) to make a set for me.
That's funny. I was waiting for you to do my Motor/Tranny!

I have to say I wasn't a fan of the satin pewter but I really like your bike. I also agree with SG06 and others--start blacking things out to complete the look you started.

Looks awesome. Not a real fan of the satin paint but yours is making me rethink that.

thanks for all the positives guys, to answer a few questions first off the wheels are from MC motorsports they are the "raven", rotors are HD from the catalog, forks i actually bought on ebay for 11 bucks! then coated them satin black for another 30. as far as the suggestion for some more black, i agree, in fact my near future plans are for the grab bar around the rear fender, and the lower bag supports, and a buddy of mine suggested getting a pinstriper to give me a satin black pinstripe right around the lip of the wheel, and i am kicking that idea around, then i will go from there. as far as cleaning the wheel and long term weathering of it, i agree about it being pretty difficult, but i figured that if i didnt at least give if a try then i would probably regret it,right now i still have my options open, if it doesnt work out then i will send it off for coating.i did a bit af research and found about twenty sites (mostly boating sites actually) that recommended cleaning bare alluminum like that with the stainless steel wipes, and thats what i used to get them cleaned up after it arrived. hopefully i will be able to keep the elements fromcausing to much havoc to them, i live in vegas so wet roads and poor conditions arent to much of a problem here luckily. it will deffinately be a test period for awhile to see if its gonna work out well or not, but i have my fingers crossed!

thanks guys ride safe!
