OK I got caught up in the euphoria of designing a new model ...LOL. But I am going to stick with the painted Inner fairing in my "List of Demands" , as this is a pretty easy assembly line paint shot compared to the after production PIA. Yes we can all agree that too many upgrades put the cost into the stratosphere, but I bet even the CVO owners might like a couple small, improvements. AT least I stopped myself before it got out of control....LOL.

Easy to use valve stems is not to much to ask for.
Suspension improvement would benefit drivability a lot
LED lights all the way around, should at least be a factory option

Do away with at least three of the sportster models, use the V-rod for target practice and drive the ****ing Switchback into the ocean.

twin front discs on all models, ABS and cruise on all models, better shockies, better forks.
Weld the cranks in the factory, start using USA made bearings again.

i think this post wins "best suggestions" haha

I think things like the switchback and 5,345 sportster variations are all products of the exact thoughts shown in this thread. That every harley model should have a billion options of motors/cooling/powdercoated this/chromed that/400 custom paint schemes/etc from the factory. Buying a "custom" bike from the factory kind of removes the personality and creativity from the whole "Harley owning experience" IMO. Personally im glad i have to do so much work to "make it mine" or as fast as i want. If one person dictated the look or performance of the entire lineup, we would all just be riding "their" bikes around...

That being said, I agree with some of the quality stuff especially better bearings and welded cranks. I would also stomp out the idea of ever going to a water-cooled lineup... Ride a bike with a 124" and then tell me you cant get reliable power from an air-cooled motor
