So I changed over to gear drive, what a relief. The grove on the shoe was not that bad but the gouges makes you wonder.... I hope there in the filter. No I did not cut a filter apart. yet...

What model bike you run? Did you happen to check the crank runout?

If a little plastic could hurt a Harley, they would be dozens lying on the side of ever mile of road. Someone had a filter cut apart on here, and it had a sprinkle of them in it. Had to be staged. Were they go first is in the timing chain galley. If the return side of the pump picked them up and it's pickup is fairly high, they would go into the oil bag. If by chance they were drawn from there by the pressure side of the pump they would get trapped by filter. The harden gear pump gears would not be affected by this. Just my opinion but your tensioners would have gone 90K. You must stay out of the high rpm range.

Default Stock Sucks

Dawg you had me for a second.... thats funny **** right there. Low Joe yes I checked the run out, .002 on a 2006 streetglide. I could have just put a new set in and rode but I just wanted them out of there. Plus it gives you a reason to put cams in right? I mean your in there so.... then change the two bearings, then hell put her on the dyno right.... But it's all good. Because we all know "STOCK SUCKS"
