Default Question on shipping set of wheels w/tire mounted.

Just replaced my wheels and tires with Agitators and want to sell my HD chrome Airstrike take-offs. Before I offer these up for sale I have a question.

How have you guys been packing and shipping complete wheel/tire sets? Especially the packaging.

I know I probably need to remove the rotors to prevent them from getting bent. I just want all my bases covered before I sell and have to ship these.

When I bought wheels and tires for my RK they were shipped (mounted) in a normal cardboard box. Was two layers thick on the side. No rotors or pulley mounted. Pretty sure I wouldn't try to ship them attached.

We have a special way of packing wheels that have tires and rotors mounted that requires foam blocks cut and glued to a sep[arate piece of cardboard to keep the rotors from sitting on the edge of the box. The simpelst way is to take rotors and pulley off. When an assembled wheel is not packaged properly the rotors usually end up bent from the box being tossed around.
