Turn a Classic into a classic

Phillipe, its not as hard as it looks or seems. I did this years ago on my bike: I got a rail off ebay but it is nice to see a new one available from j/p for <$100. just weld 2 cross-members on the brackets then disassemble the nuts from the air-ride frame to seat set the rail and as you tighten the nuts back on the frame to seat it will hold the rail in place. i am attaching some photos to explain; this also makes it easy to take off or readjust if needed. mine has been on for 3 years like this and never has shifted or moved and I take my seat off to put a 2-up seat on frequently.
And if you don't have a welder, everyone, go get the Harbor Freight $100 mig welder, it's def worth the price and is a quality hobby-level welder.

ad3333: Dang!!! The bikes looking really sweeeet. Love the new rocket pipes; they're somewhat bigger in the rear from the ones HD used to make for my 2002 - nice.
