even thinking about washing my bike pisses me off...so i don't. there is nothing prettier than a bagger in a motel parking lot with two weeks of road grime on it. i am happy because i am on the road and racking up some miles, and the bike is happy because it knows i will be taking it to the dealer when we get back home for an oil change--and the dealer will wash it.

Default I wonder

I went to a relatives house about 100 miles yesterday and the Harley had dirt and bugs and it is black so it's always a bit dirty....The relatives were out looking at it when I arrived and I heard comments like " did you stop and shine it on the way" Our bikes seam dirtier to us than the general public I think.

So true ... I can feel embarrassed about the appearance of my bike and someone else will actually compliment it!!
