I`ve got 27k on my front tire on `11 Roadking with a little tread left. The back i changed out at 14k only because i was heading out on a long trip. i`m sticking with them. but if they gave me problems i would change to something else.
have been running the Elite series for years , now E3s had a problem with one and side wall cracks bout 20 years ago , took it back to the dealer [ Honda at the time ] and replaced with no problems , stuff happens , I wonder if and other brand tire has the problem
I have had good luck with dunlop and metzler, same mileage. Had a tire delamination with a veerubber...for price, ride and mileage, I usually stick with dunlop, but will keep an eye out for cracks...
has dunlop fixed their damn tires yet? replacement front tire on 12 streetglide ,1000 miles on it and the side wall is cracking just like the tire before. there is no call for this to be happening, just plain don't give a **** about their customers any longer. just keep sending out the same crap over and over trying to get you out of warrenty. i'm about done buying harleys crap anylonger, next bike i will build from the ground up using as little H.D. parts as possible. fed up!
I have dunlop american elite on my bike and i have around 30000 on the front and when i replaced the rear i had the harley dunlop on it with 15000 at replacement
Happy as can be with my stock Dunlops. 15K from the front. 11K from the rear. I have a 110 motor and like to twist it. This mileage seems about right to me.
