The RG fairing looks a little bulky, but it does a good job. I don't get near the buffeting from trucks that I got from my BMW.

There is room for improvement with the windshield. I'm thinking of an adjustable one like on the BMW. Put it down to catch some air, up for the slab runs. I really miss that.

Love the fairing, less weight on the handlebars...

People swear by them, But I am not a fan of a fairing that does not move with from forks - I like my lights to follow my turning path
You must drive a "Tucker" car = {do you even know what a Tucker is??}

Maybe if they just shortened the nose of it a bit. if you look at the side shot of mine you see it just sticks out to far
All fixed fairing bikes have the fairing out further so you can turn the bars completely to the left and to the right. Only reason it looks further than the Goldwing's let say is because of the design. Goldwings fairing and others have the fairing sides extended more towards the body and cuts out near the middle of the gas tank for a smoother look while the RG cuts right before the tank and gives it a further from the bars look.

The look of the RG has grown on me and would like to buy one maybe this year.

I like the look of the shark nose. But heck I like the look of Apes and a 2-1 on Baggers also. So I guess my opinion doesn't count, does it?

It was love at first sight for me, I wouldn't change a thing about my RG, except some mini apes, which I did.

Was it a car built by a man named Tucker?
Had a single headlight that turned with the steering wheel??

The RG is ok looking, but I prefer the Batwing.

The reason the RG fairing is bulky looking is also the reason most folks like them.
They move all your gauges and fairiing Infront of the handlebars(away from the rider), there by giving you a more open feeling, with fairing protection from the elements.

As far as the graphics, harley really needs to can the people coming up with them an most of the models. They are really doing some stupid stuff.

Wrong there is plenty of play to work with, if they were to move or make smaller the tach and speedo. there is plenty of room from the inner part to the forks, and with a smaller radio and such theinside can be brought in to make shorter

but this is no pissing contest... I like my RG butI would like to see a new look.

Actually sticking out in front is one of the things I like about it. Gives the bike a longer look than the EG.
