My bike came with a 16" wind screen, it buffeted my head terribly. It was in bad shape so I bought a used factory 20" screen - even though it was just below nose height (which I read is what you want) , I hated how it was in my field of vision. No buffeting however.

I decided to take a chance on eBay with vendor trusted4u2013 who told me it'd be no charge for the custom 18" height I wanted. Great service, 2 day shipped to my door in time for the weekend.

Wow am I amazed what a difference the proper height wind screen makes - I hardly notice it in my vision, yet I have a great buffet free zone to ride in. I'd say its about even with my chin.

Figured I'd post up and share my good experience. If anyone is displeased with their factory screen, I'm here to say is worth the Benjamin to get a proper height custom screen.
