Gary,
Just wondering if you ever found out what your dealer was doing to make the hand held microphone work.
Thanks

Not yet. All my parts just came in and it won't be until the new year before I bring it in.
It's something to do with a cable. I'll post when I know.

I'm thinking maybe the dealer is replacing the console harness with that from prior years. Will be interesting to see what Gary finds out.

That or they are installing another wire to the DIN connector. There has to be 6 wires going to the DIN connector for it to work.

Nothing yet, I'm still waiting for the weather to clear so I can bring the bike in and have all the crap put on.

The ebay linky above didn't work...

Will this work?

what I really like to see a way to relocate or have a ptt button in line with the headset wire because my thumb is to short for the right side to push. I always catch myself giving it gas every time I push the ptt lol

Just checking to see if anybody has figured out a work around for this yet. it's kind of a pain having to use the ptt and the mic switch. Really don't want to use a rubber band around mic thats kinda hokey for me.
Would hope by now somebody has figured it out.
