Fullsac Installed
I completed the install of the fullsac system, Looks good and sounds good, However I would like to replace the two heat shields on the right side and make it one.Has anyone done this, and if so where did you get the shield
Thanks Rick |
RE: Fullsac Installed
I have looked into this and can not find one that is long enough to do this in one piece. If you look at Drag or JP they have straight sections of heat shield

RE: Fullsac Installed
I think that if you can get ahold of a Softail Deluxe rear of front pipe, and match itup to the HD extended front header pipe (for FLH) and use the short piece to complete...
I was going to do this but ended up with other pipes.... Just measure the length and go to the stealer and look at different stock pipes you will find something. ask the service dept about take offs and save some $$. |
RE: Fullsac Installed
I just added the Harley extended front heat shield. Covers the gap and looks much better. Plus my head pipe was pretty ugly in the gap. Got it on e-bay for real cheap. Never seen a one piece heat shield. Does someone make them?
