Please tell us the free power tips, it's the only thing I can afford right now, blew it all on exhaust systems.LOL.
No free power tips. What I meant was that we discussed certain "Individuals" in the industry, their ethics, or lack thereof.

Interesting read wnogood.

thanks for sharing. I TRY to pay close attentionespecially when it comes to performance enhancementsand the guys here that, not only recommend a product, but have actually used said product(s) are the ones that I heed to the most. PhilM,maineultraclassic, SHB, and many others speak suttle but wisely and Iappreciate all input.

Thumbs up guys for your contributions to this community.

Thanks for the kudos......I try to offer first hand knowledge from parts I have used. I have also done so much reading, calling, talking about all this stuff that I truely think I can offer good advice without being pushy about any product.

How does one go about getting a hold fo these guys? I'm not ready to do any major stuff yet, but having a good game plan is the first step I think. I hate buying parts twice, lol.

Here's their contact info: http://www.head-quarters.com/html/contact.html

They are still in the middle of their busy season trying to get peoples machine work out, so it can be difficult to get Doug on the phone. If you wanna bounce ideas off of Doug or ask for recommendations, try his Yahoo site @: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/HQTechline/

It's a good way to get ahold of him, isn't it Steve?

"He was adamant about the 2-1 versus the Rineharts. With a smirky laugh, I told him that the Rineharts were not an option. Sorry Phil and Steve, but I thinka 2-1 ishideous on a bagger. I will give up some torque for my duals."

So often pearls of wisdom fall on deaf ears. What is hideous to some is beautiful to others. Love my 2-1!

A 2-1 on a bagger is an acquired taste, and for some it is just too much to deal with.

But the way I looked at it was like this............I put $1500 into the motor for performance, why leave 5-10 hp or torque on the table just to have 2 exhaust pipes.
