Default Streamliner Hiway Peg Mount Question

Just checked with dealership on the streamliner hiway pegs and mounts and have extreme sticker shock! 100 for the mounts and that doesnt include the bolts. The bolts are 25 extra. Pegs are a 160 so your looking at close to 300 bucks for a hiway peg setup.
I was able to get the pegs at a great discounted price used but wonder if anyone found another clamp or way to mount the pegs for far less than almost 125 bucks harley wants. Cant help think theres gotta be a heavy duty clamp that would work for under 30 bucks. Any ideas or suggestions on this?

Pending on your inseam there are several options. I got Billet Engine Guard Footpeg Mounting Kit-50957-02B from HD and moved the rears to the front. Eventually found a used set off same make and model from a forum member that switched over to floorboards for passenger. Both purchased and installed on my bike for under 200.00. Check the forums for sale sections. Best of luck...

Here is what I used
Short Angled Adjustable Highway Peg Mount Kit-50830-07A
Part Number 50830-07A
$119.95
That includes the bolts to mount. Only other item needed is the peg of your choice.

Then I took the factory streamliner rear pegs and used them on the above mount.

I did the same thing, but picked up a take off set of pegs on craigslist.
Watch the classifieds on this site, they come up quite often.

I picked up a ISO kury offset complete setup new on ebay for $85 since my 14 SGS came with streamliner passenger pegs I pulled em off and used them as highway pegs (I ride solo) so for $85 got a real nice setup one of the few bargains I've gotten lol.

Looks good - how often do you use them

On the fence putting them on the RK - ride is comfortable as is

I couldn't ride any distance without being able to stretch my legs they are a must for me I've had knee surgery and a hip replacement and my favorite riding position is feet forward heels resting on the boards and ***** of my feet on the pegs.

I got a knee with a blown ACL that sometimes locks up if I leave it in one position for too long - that's probably what's holding me back

Maybe I can get an inexpensive set to try out to see if it works for me

When you are on the pegs is there any pressure on your lower back or anything like that?

Harley mounts are $119. When you buy the pegs, you have everything you need.

20ish thousand on a motorcycle, another 300 is chicken feed.
