Default Replace 255's in 2013 Road Glide

I bought a 2013 Road Glide Ultra and let the dealer do my upgrades. (enough said?)
They installed a fatcat 2-1, S/E-A/C, S/E tuner, and 255 cams. Dyno tuned and I don't really like it. I was told that it needs a good tune.
If I am going to do that then I think a better cam would be needed also.
Mr. Wood said a 222 would work great for 2 up.
I would like to know which cam would give me the best performance? 50* 2-up
The 255's do fine then fall off quick.
Any and all advice needed.
Thank you

I have the tw-555's in my 2012. Amazing difference in power. Still great low end torque and much more torque and scream past 4000. If you are going to keep everything else stock, then the tw-222 is a great choice. If you think you may bump compression and headwork, the 555's will be a better cam.

Depending where you are in Texas it would be worth a visit to GMR Performance in Ft. Worth, Tx.
Steve really knows the V-Twin well and can create a great engine combo for you. He also is well-known for his tuning ability.
I too had the 255's by the dealer and changed over to a kuryakyn cam and results have been stellar.
All of your other components should work fine with a better cam. I personally think the D&D 2-1 is a little loud especially for long rides...just my opinion though.
Give Steve a call...nothing to loose.

Just done a 103 kit on my 08 RG and done the 255 cams. I am sure the woods will pull out a little further but the 255's do fine for me. I would say the 255's fall off in the upper 4000 rpm. range. I road 1600 miles one way to strugis this year and in 6th gear at around 70 mph and was turning like 2650 never seen 5000 rpm the whole trip. So i guess i got the cams i need for the way i ride my bike. Hey but if some one want to buy me a set of wood 222's to try i would not mind. And when i decide i want to go faster i guess i will buy a bike that is made to do that. You know for what a 131" motor cost you can buy a BUSA for about the same money and really go fast so it don't add up to me.

+1 on Steve, and Ed at Dyno Difference in Dallas is also a FIRST RATE tuner. He's done every bike I've had over the past 14 years, and has always done a geat job.

I went from the SE255s to TW222s and the difference was very noticeable improvement in low end TQ and power, runs cooler and sounds better. For 2 up riding and not drag racing the TW222 is a great cam.

if you spoke to Bob then why are you asking us? The man has forgotten more about cams than many know. IF he said 222's then go with 222's.
I talked with him when i did my 95 then again when i went 107. My 408G cams from him kick a$$ and make huge usable power. The valve train is a little loud, but it has quieted down over time, or i have gotten use to the noise. Either way, IMHO, you got great advice on cams.

Yes I agree.
But I like to do my homework. By the Dyno sheets
I have seen there may be a little better cam choice
for my set up.
Like the TC-24D on the Dyno out performs the others.
I don't know about either one is why I am asking.
