Default 2007 Streetglide Fork rebuild Kit 49377-09A

Decided to chrome the front end this winter. I need some help verifying that seal kit 49377-09A will work on a 2007 Street Glide?

I don't know - but you will need two of them. FWIW, the -09 part number means 2009 model year was the first year used.

Thanks Joe12RK,

How about any reputable aftermarket suppliers that would carry these kind of kits?

They are probably 49mm tubes and pretty generic. Do you just need the new seals to button it up or do you also want to replace the 2007 bushings while you have it apart? Complete rebuild kit is $75 tops.

They are 41mm, with around 30,000 miles on them. I am thinking as long as I have them down I would go ahead and re-build them with all the seals, O-rings, slide bushing & guide bushing. I was just checking to see if anyone has any recommendations on any good aftermarket brands?

I kinda see them as a commodity item and will probably get my stuff off of eBay. Perhaps not the cheapest but not the same item for 50% more either.

41mm. Huh. I gotta do a set of 49mm off of a 2007 FXD. Hell, I THINK they are the odd 49mm.

They're 41mm on the touring bikes. Surdyke HD has a live chat help line you could ask them. They also give 20% off. Unfortunately they are backordered until 2/28. Lucky for me my local dealer was able to find two sets. Joe
