Default Passenger Grab Rails for 07 Ultra Classic

What options are out there for the passenger grab rails? I didn't see them in the HD book or the Drag Specialties FatBook (although looking at online is harder than thumbing through pages).

I'm sure there are a few different companies out there offering them. Appreciate your feedback on ones you have seen or used yourself.

I have an 06 ULtra, it didn't come with the grap rail. The rail will fit! The trunk needs to be in the back position, which is how mine came from the factory. My buddy has an 07. WE both bought the standard HD rails and installed them without problems. On his, the holes in the trunk for the speakers allowed the speakers to be moved up giving more clearance for the rails.

Best of luck.

Dont know why HD decieded not to include the grab rails as standard equipment on the 06 & 07 models. My wife really likes them even with the tour pak mounted with the big back rest pad. I guess a way for HD to try to squeeze another 125$ out of us. Check ebay...got a set a pratically new rails for 50$.

Two offers to buy 'previously used' ones. Am I missing something? Are these a waste of good chrome? Seems like the passenger could use them as a leverage point to move around in the seat when 'unmentionables' need a bit of adjusting.

Anybody have a passenger that wouldn't ride a bike without them? Ok, maybe that's a bit extreme. They just love the ability to move around a bit without bothering the driver.

The grab bars are in the catalogue, Part No 91583-99. They list for $128.95 US.

They are $169.95 here in Canada.......oooch.

http://www.surdyke.com/& http://www.chicagoharley.comoffer 20% discounts on all HD Parts and Accessories. I believe Surdyke has a slightly lower shipping rate too. You'll just have to compare 'em. I was thinking of ordering a pair myself for the wife. They're about $102.00 at both places.

Good Luck, Timba

I went to the local dealer tonight and they pointed them out in the catalog. I couldn't find them to save my life. But tonight as the guy behind the counter fumbled through the catalog I grabbed a second catalog and opened the book straight to the right page. Go figure.

Thanks for the feedback folks.
