Want to de-chrome windshield trim...paint or powdercoat?
I bought that chrome trim that goes between the windshield and outer fairing to replace that cheap piece of rubber that keeps falling off. I want tosandblast the windshield trim and turn it into a nice vivid black piece to match my fairing. Which is the better way to go between painting and powder coating?

Ok I'm bringing this thread back from the forum abyss because I'm going to take the powdercoating route. One question for anybody who's done this. There's a bunch of adhesive spots on all pieces called "3M Dual Lock". Does this need to be removed or will it stand the temperatures required for powder coating? I know it's more a question for the PC pros but they're closed right now.
