Default Sheared bolt

During the 5,000 service, my dealer found a "Critical Fastener" sheared. The Stabilizer Dampner mount on the head sheared. He was very busy, so he asked if I could bring it in early one morning. He said it may take an hour or serveral. Worse case is he would have to replace the head. I do now notice it at high speeds.
Check yours out.
PS, he only charged $275 with syn 3

This is a common thing on the Triglide, my dad has had it happen more than once on his 09.

Never had a problem on my 2011 TG, but on my 2014 I had one of those bolts fall out.

Fortunately it did not mess up the threads. It is now in there with a lock washer.

I still check both of those bolts regularly now...in fact, I just took a look at them this morning.

Glad you got your fixed without having to replace the head.

Kevin, still didn't get the fix, so hopefully he wont have to change the head out. We shall see.

Never had that happen on my '09, but my service tech did find my stabilizer leaking during one of my service intervals. He fixed it under warranty. The part was over $500 and it took him 15 minutes to replace.
