I have a 2014 Tri Glide “Black” and i’m trading it for a 2017 Tri Glide “Mysterious Red/Velocity Red”…

I had the Fender Bra on my black one when I first got it but it seemed to leave a line in the fender like a blemish from them where the sides were on top of the fender…Does this make sense? They were clean etc but just seemed like they left marks that would not wax out…

Should I be concerned the same thing will happen with the 2017? Also will my 2014 fender bra fit the 2017?

You could put a clingy vinyl sheet under the wear areas. I used something that was meant to make window decorations, the Crickut stuff in rolls at the craft store. We put it under some temporary ATV fender bags we use on long trips that we mount on the front of the fenders and the chrome lighted trim. It will protect the fenders from wear, and just peels off when you're done with it.

A little 2000 and then 2500 wet-or-dry, very wet, and then some mild polishing compound, and then some wax will remove those marks.

I installed the fender bras on my trike 2 weeks ago. the fenders were all nicked up with dings from rocks, etc over the last 3 riding seasons. I like the look of the bras better than looking at the chips every time I ride. The fenders are already nicked so I don't care if the bras add any surface scratches to the fenders.
