Default Anti tip shutoff feature on Freewheeler?

I am going get an owners manual tomorrow, but this has been on my mind.
There were a few times when making sharp turns the Trike shutdown. Tip comes up on the speedo information. Today it happened twice, once from a stop making a turn & picking up speed & another time when I was riding on a hill with a sharp turn, The Engine shutdown & I coasted to the side of the road where I had to turn my ignition/accessories switch to off to reset so I could start it up again.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas how I can disarm this if possible?

It sounds like your switch is loose or has been dislodged from its mount. It should not trip under the conditions you outlined. I would have the dealer fix or replace the switch since it should still be under warranty.

Just talked to the dealership & they said they never heard of something like that happening, BUT to bring it in anyway to check it out. So I will bring it in Tomorrow. When I find out I will post what they said.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated!

It's funny how dealers rarely hear of problems or admit it. Had problems with the clutch and saddle bag pins on the Rushemore I had. They repeatedly claimed "never heard of that problem" and "user error" blah blah blah. Sure enough shortly after my visits to them, mass safety recalls issued for the problems noted before. Makes you wonder.

Just tell them make it right. Hope you get the problem fixed.

I can tell you from experience that they come loose. They are held in place by a bolt and if the nut backs off you have problems. Happened on my 2011 Triglide

I've seen it once myself.

Don't let them tell you they did not find anything wrong.

You should be able to take hairpin curves up or down a steep hill without it tripping the tip-over sensor.

The sensor has either come loose or is defective.

I have the same problem but I jacked up my 2010 triglide on one side to work under it. Can't get it to start now. Where is the switch located or how do I disarm it?

Look under the seat just behind the battery sitting crossways the frame.
But you also have to have your key fob present.

First check your right hand controls and make sure the run/stop switch is in the run position.

What you might have to do is turn the switch to the on position and remove the main fuse. Wait for a couple minn. Install the fuse turn the switch off. Then try to start it up.
