We had a 16, only issue we had was a lifter go bad at 350 miles, fix under warranty nothing since. 2000 miles going strong.

Keep an eye on the shifter arm, the splines wear and can get loose. Several have fallen off; mine did. Don't know if that was ever addressed or not. There was a clutch lever cylinder recall on my '14 that got fixed. And there were coolant reservoir cap leaks on the early 14's that were fixed even before I bought mine, but other than that nothing to speak of in 15K miles.

Just over 7,000 miles on my 16. Had it in for the front brake and it has to go back, but that probably won't be a big issue. Only other warranty/repair issue was my seat began coming apart at about 4,000 miles. They replaced with a tall-boy seat at no charge.

I have always purchased my Harley's when they were 2 to 3 years old. This is the first new model I have purchased new. It has been all quality just as I expected.

Had no issues with our: '09, '11, or '14. Freewheeler is going strong at 14,000.
