Default J&S Trike jack

If I remove one or both of the rear wheels on my TriGlide while it is up on the J&S jack will it cause the trike to be unstable and unbalanced ? If so have you had to use straps before removing the wheels ?

I've taken my rear wheels off probably 15 times or so in just 2 months to address an issue under mine and the trike doesn't budge at all. If I grab something under it and pull myself on my creeper it will move a little but I don't make that a practice. I don't like being underneath it any even when the safety bars are in place. It's a single point of failure. I haven't found a good place to put jack stands under because of the way the jack goes up and down. My over all opinion of the jack though is it's the best I've seen. I can move my trike around wheels on and off and it's easier than a loaded shopping cart.

I have had both rear wheels off while on the J&S jack and had no problems.

Yup, what he said. A lot of the weight is centered directly over the jack so it's pretty stable even without the wheels. I've even moved mine around the garage on the jack without wheels with no stability problems.

Thanks for the replies. Glad to hear that it is stable enough without having to use straps.

Default J&S Sale Prices

For anyone interested in a J&S jack, they have their jacks on sale for 15% off and FREE SHIPPING at this time. This is probably the best deal you will find on J&S jacks at any time. I bought mine last year when they ran this sale. The shipping alone is usually about $75.00 or so.

Chief,
I've used the J&S jack under my '16 TG many times and never had a balance problem. I installed the DK Lift Kit and Pro-Action shocks last week without any difficulties on this jack, wheels on and off. Great product.

Ordered mine 2 weeks ago, still waiting for it to arrive, hope it works like everyone says, I like to remove things when I clean so I can get to the nooks and cranny's, the rear wheels would certainly come off even if I had to block it up somehow.

Those who R&R the rear wheels,,,,, Please remember to torque the lug nuts then recheck after about a 50 to 100mile running time. I torque mine to 95ft lbs.
When one of those wheels come loose it can get spendy !
