"Pop" in front end

Have someone check the front suspension to make sure it isn't coming apart internally.
Make sure they don;t want to be involved in a lawsuit ! A little inspection time to center the noise down now might save them a lot of money later. Especially if something happen to fail and cause an accident.

Before I bought my trike I had a conversation with Eric at Legends. He was at a dealer demo ride so we had the chance to talk a little. He felt the changes Harley made in the 2019 trike front would really help. He also felt going to dual coil over adjustable on the rear was a great decision over the stock air shock. So you have the option to upgrade your front end I think the kit is $499.00 . I'm at a couple thousand miles now and I honestly can't justify in changing the front or rear . And every bike I have ever bought I changed the suspension .

First, I realize this is an old thread but I wanted to let readers know what I found on my trike. After getting enough miles (10,000) I changed the front tire to a Michelin 3. After 500 miles, there has not been any problem. I think the front tire was the culprit for whatever reason.
So, if any readers are experiencing this type problem, it may be the tire.

Sounds like to me it's the neck bearings are too tight. There is a tolerance. Everone tends to set to max. They assume it will wear loose. Tapered rollers with grease for lubrication do not like preload on them.
Do you notice it after it sits for and extended time or especially if trailered. That with preload drives the lubrication film totally out. Then the bearing stick/skate till they roll and relube.

No, my Indy put a new tire on since the original was worn down so whatever work that may entail plus a new tire alleviated the problem. He did not mention anything being suspicious soooo I don’t know. Just glad it has gone away. I just wonder if the belts in the tire could have done something wierd?
