Default Reverse on a TriGlide

I recently ended a short trip on the trike and when I went to use the reverse it did not engage. After reading in this forum about other's same problem, I set out to check the relay which was not tripped. Pulling the fuse cover off I did not see any fuse blown; after pulling all fuses other than the 50 AMP, I did notice that on one fuse, one leg was slightly corroded. I cleaned the corrosion and reinserted the fuse, the reverse worked like a champ. I am writing this so maybe others with the same will check the fuse legs. Now I have to work on why the fuse was corroding.
Ride safe.

G'day mate,

welcome to HDF.

I will be your tour guide. Be sure to read the manual before posting ok mate?

Or we will have discipline you and if you don't "get it" we will need to discipline you biker style.

Now, for your orientation. Go down the hall on your left to the 1st room. No, wait. That is where Izzo interviews the gals. The 1st room on your right. That is where the commissary is.

Then you will see doors marked for the mortuary, skeet shooting, a room where we make fun of In-Jun bikes, and of course we have a ahh, umm, oh yeah a across the hall.

We had a BOMB MAKING room but, well, ahhhhh, 1 of the guys just didn't understand Blasting Caps very well so..... you know.

We have our own pub .

There are several places where you can familiarize your self with the .

So don't be a wall flower watching others . Get involved.

See you around mate. I am going to the commissary now.

Have A Great Day Mate,

BuzzCap7

Welcome. You should post your question in the TriGlide sub-forum.

But, consider:
- the Trike must be in neutral for the reverse to engage. Make sure the “n” light comes on. Otherwise, the confuser doesn’t know you are in neutral. If this, probably a bad neutral switch.
- the reverse circuit breaker is under the right side cover.
- if everything else works, there’s nothing under the left side cover fuse block that would prevent reverse from working.
- a little dab of dielectric grease on each fuse terminal prevents corrosion.

Thanks TriGeezer for the suggestion of dielectric grease.
