Buy it then you won't have to worry about getting the first stone chips on it ..

First thing is the price, second is the mechanical fitness of unit and as far as the chips in paint on rear fenders,a set of fender bras from Brafortrikes will cover those up.JMHO

I have a 2014 Triglide with 59,000km. Check to make sure the steering head bearings were checked at the appropriate service. Mine and a friends 2014 both needed to be replaced. It would be very expensive out of warranty. Also check on the swing arm bearings. Mine is still running strong with no problems.

But go with a '14 or later, the water cooled heads help and the infotainment center is better.

All good advice above. I would also do a leak-down test. A large percentage of Twin Cams with 10k or more miles on them sound and run "good" but will fail the test, and have an accompanying drop in power.

Lot's of super low mileage Tri-Glides out there for sale. I would take some time and find one, unless the 43k one you found is hugely discounted off blue book.

thanks for all the replies. I'm a retired 71 year old and cant afford a garage queen so been looking for something inexpensive. price is 20k and is the color I want. I had the local Harley dealer check it out and after inspection everything checked OK except the steering stabilizer is dead. over $500 new, ouch. according to the vin # it had been serviced but not at recommended service intervals. also radio had been replaced at one time. front tire will need replace in about 1k miles. I'm thinking the price reflects the mileage. again thank you

not sure where you are in Florida or what color you are looking for but there is a 2015 with only 5,600 miles in Palm Bay and the guy is asking $24,000
