Well you can make all the fun you want but my wife's 2012 TriGlide had the sidestand mounting plate on the frame (without the stand and spring) and her's is a factory trike with trike serial number? . Go figure.

The MOCO will install it but If they can detect you actually used it your warranty will be voided. This is on '14 up models.
YMMV

Actually, I have thought of that for a two wheeler. My legs are more than adequate but last year I saw two people pulling into out hotel. They were trying to back their Ultras in. They were a husband/wife team and I doubt either was over 5'7" with the wife even shorter.

I watched them tippy-toe their bikes backward and both of them tipped over. From the looks of their fairings and saddlebags, I'd say this was a "normal" occurrence. We talked for awhile and they said the only problem is when backing up. Since electric reverse is only walking speed, I don't think a reverse on a 2 wheeler is out of the question.

I'm less than 5' 7", been riding my Glide for almost 30 years. I hardly ever try to push the darned thing backwards from the saddle and I doubt if there is a rider training course anywhere which suggests that we should even try. I always get off it and push from beside it, as indeed I've been doing with my bikes for over 50 years now.
