Congrats Denny! Make sure you're wearing one of your masks when they show you the secret hand shake. It keeps the chicken blood out of your nose.

Our NEWEST Member Of the Month

For The Month Of June 2021

Please Help Us Welcome

CoolBreeze3646
.
Pretty much no matter which HDF forum you are in, be it Tech & Mechanical, Games, Sportster, General Tech/Tips, POD (yeah the POD), 2018+ Soft Tails, and the list goes on, you very likely know CoolBreeze3646. Not that it is a good thing. He is ALL over the place. If he is not in one place complimenting someone, then he is in another giving plentiful and great mechanical advice on pretty much any kind of bike, no matter what the problem is.

Before we go any further, I have to formally post a disclaimer for legal and general informational purposes because my errors and omissions insurance here with HDF mandates it with chaps like CoolBreeze3646 due to his background. You see, CB is an expert at blowing things up and also in chemical warfare. So, we have to be delicate talking about the CB.

Disclaimer: (You will see why below.)

1. Nothing I say is meant to **** off CoolBreeze3646. (Him/He/His aka CB aka CoolBreeze3646 aka The Breeze.)

2. Don’t assume anything here is true and/or correct, for if you try to hire his services he is more apt to blow you up just for giddies and entertainment purposes than any other reason.

3. Information contained herein is the sole property of HDF and remains with HDF.

4. No part of this posting is to be used, divulged, or copied without the written express consent of HDF, CB, the President of HD, the President of the Universe, and the President of the Cosmos & Celestial Spheres (where CB sent no less than 3,646 people so far. Thus the “CoolBreeze3646.” ‘juss say’n.)

Now, let’s continue.

CoolBreeze3646’s real name is Roger Whitelaw (I am afraid to say his name since he knows where I live) and has been married to Jana for 32 years. (Or to anyone else he wants to be married to.) In CB’s first two marriages, the gals did not understand blasting caps or nitroglycerine so they did not stay around in one piece very long. Jana is an expert in this field, so this marriage has not been blown to smithereens.

2017 Dragon
.
They (CB and Jana) have a son Erik who will have his Mechanical Engineering Degree this August 2021.

CB got started with the kids a bit on the late side due to partying too much (oh, partying, THAT is a good thing for a bomb expert to be doing.) He was enjoying life and working stuff out in his head before taking on the responsibility of raising a family.

Roger (CoolBreeze3646) was drafted in 1972 and soon after was categorized as “4F,” failing the physical due to flat feet. More specifically “pronated ankles.” Nah, nah, before you go and looking up what “…pronated ankles…” are, I already did. Pronated ankles mean, ankles that tend to curve inward resulting in little to no arch in your foot. You’re welcome.

Although he was not drafted, Roger did have a GOOD 32-year career as a government civil servant. Roger had a few different careers while being employed at various Army Depots and Headquarters. He started as a Locksmith in 1976 at a Depot in Upstate NY (he was a licensed NYS Journeyman Locksmith working commercially previously.)

After 12 years, he took an upwardly mobile job as a Special Weapons Assembler/Repairer at the same upstate Depot. In essence, the job was like an Army MOS 55G but with a little higher level of knowledge and maintenance abilities.

The above followed with a Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) program. Roger spent 3 years providing Quality Assurance for small arms, missiles, and explosives demolition at a Depot in Pennsylvania. (Like I said, don’t **** off Roger.)
.

.
He then moved into the Safety and Occupational Health field providing Headquarters with Explosives Safety to 11 subordinate depots. In its wisdom, the Army is always realigning things so after five years CB was transferred to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD to assist with setting up new Headquarters and provide Explosives and Toxic Chemical Safety oversight to 8 subordinate installations. The HQ name changed a few times but ended up as the US Army Chemical Materials Agency.
.

.
Thirty-two years later, Roger ended his career as the Stockpile Supervisory Safety & Health Manager. Most all the Toxic Chemicals have been demilitarized; however, there are 2 Depots still working on the disposal of chemicals.

Roger, not having blown himself up, has been riding for 52 years. He has owned a whopping 16 bikes to date and more coming. He currently owns a 2019 Tri-Glide, 2016 Yamaha FJ-09, and a 2003 Sportster Sport.

He has found his favorite bikes are his present 2019 Tri-Glide, 2003 HD Sportster, 2000 Honda VFR800, and his 2016 Yamaha FJ-09.
.
.
One of his more memorable rides to date was taking his, ooooooh, aaaaaaah, ummmmmm, eenie meenie miney mo, I think I will take the 2019 Tri-Glide this time…….LOL…….. (Spoiled bastard, eh?), which turned into a FANTASTIC ride, cruising Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Mountains.
.
.
(FYI, Roger does ride his FJ-09 and 2003 Sportster, so they are certainly not collecting dust. It is just that Roger is getting older and fatter so the Tri-Glide; well, you know…. The nice thing is, when Roger reviews this write up in rough draft form and takes out a paragraph or my comments like the one I just made about him getting older and fatter, I simply put it right back in before publication. If you do not see me around after this MOM write up goes public, then you can figure…. KA-POW!)

Roger figures his most epic ride was likely back in 1978 when he rode around the center of the USA as follows…

He left upstate New York, rode to Phoenix, Arizona to visit a friend who just got out of the Navy as well as his Grandfather who was living in Sun City, Arizona. Then he was off to the Grand Canyon for a few days, (he said he can make an explosion that would make the Grand Canyon look like a puddle) then off to Salt Lake City to visit friends. Thereafter off to Atlanta, GA to visit an old high school buddy, then off to Pittsburgh, PA to visit another high school friend and back up to New York.

Roger was a Motorcycle Safety Instructor (before rider coaches came along) for the Army in the 1980s when the Army was just starting the MSF Rider Program. He went to Fort Campbell, KY for training, then 3 of them developed riding courses for the Upstate NY Depot. Then he instructed at a Depot in Savanna, IL where he was an QASAS intern.
.
.
From 1972 to 1976, CB was a PH (Patch Holder) in a support club for a dominant club in Upstate NY.
He is an Eagle Scout (as is his son Erik) and has held various positions in the Boy Scouts such as an Assistant Scout Master, Committee Chairperson & Treasurer for a period of 10 years. He did this in the local Scout Troop where he belonged and as you can expect, has done a lot of camping.

He is also a 3rd Degree Mason, Past Master (2 years,) and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Freemason.
.
...
.
Roger has a cottage on Seneca Lake in upstate New York where he keeps a boat. In addition, he is into firearms, target shooting, cooking, buying and fixing motorcycles on Craigs List (after riding them for a while) and then selling them. If that is not enough, he has an uncanny ability to remember and match up songs with any, and I mean any event or nuance you can possibly think up. He always comes up with a matching, very appropriate song for any and all occasions.

Please note, the coins depicted below are “earned” and not just given out. The US Army Coin Map with Commander Coins are for each of the Depots CB had oversight of. In CB’s extinguished career, he has received many awards and commendations from the Dept of the Army.

My heartiest congratulations to CoolBreeze3646! Roger, I'm super jealous of your talent. I would LOVE to blow stuff up; it's the ultimate dream of every teenage boy in America and, depending on who you ask, I never really grew up. Thank you for your service to our country; who says everyone great has to wear the uniform?!?!?! Sa-LUTE!
