For what it's worth, if you use or plan on using a cover or half cover for you bike, you may want to look into the folding style of pole, this will allow you to fold over the flagpole and use the cover...just FYI

What size flag most of you running? I see some are 6x9, kinda small.

Lets face it ... motorcycling is a recreational thing ... ever bought skis or golf clubs ... they figure you ride for fun so you can afford it ... plus ... stuff has to be made better to stand up to the abuse of a bike at 75 on the highway.

Plus ... HD stands for Hundred Dollar

6x9 is big enough for every day use IMO , don't want a sail back there , and the folding mounts are also nice if you are around a group you can fold them down if you are in your tour pak so people don't run into them and maybe break something
