Default Towing a Triglide

Has anyone towed a Triglide long distance with a front wheel towing system? What are the pros and cons?

Don’t think I’d do it, rent or buy a trailer

I came across a TriGlide being towed by a motorhome last summer. Had the front wheel in a wheel basket with the rear wheels on the ground. Crap tied on the seat & tour pac rack.
Sure hope who ever gets that unit on a trade finds out what it has been through. That trike rear end has a lot of miles !
Personally I would refuse to do that but each to their own when it comes to the care of their motorcycle. JMHO !

That sounds scary. I don't think I would trust one that has been yanked around by its front springs. What is that doing to the whole front end?

IMHO there would be no reason to pull a TG that way behind a motorhome, unless you were just too cheap or lazy to buy a trailer. My Aluma TK1 weighs about 400 pounds and even with the Trike loaded I can move it around by hand. It tracks behind the motorhome perfectly and I can even back up with it on there.

I'd have to wonder what kind of damage occurred underneath a towed TG. The rear end of a TG is too damn close to the ground to be towing it blindly. Just imagine how many potholes it could hit while being towed (or road debris). But, if you got 40K to throw away, why not?
