Default Slip on muffler recommendations

I have a thread over in the tech section/exhaust but would like to add it here.

I recently acquired a 2019 Freewheeler and want to change the mufflers. I'm considering Cobra 909's and Vance and Hines twin slash slip ons. Looking for recommendations on those 2 and any other slip ons that you are running.

Sound wise prefer deep and rumbly, not loud and obnoxious, sound good at idle and increase in volume as the throttle is twisted!

You do realize that probably describes about 90% of the available aftermarket mufflers. lol Seriously though, the 909's would probably make you happy.

Full-Sac baffles are a better option and considerably cheaper if you have access to a chop saw and can do some basic drilling. I installed the Full-Sac 2.25" baffles in my wife's tri-glide. Took about 2 hours total including getting the mufflers off/on the trike.

Cobras came on my wife’s first Freewheeler, had them swapped to her second one. They are just how you describe, good sound at idle, great as it’s opened up. And comfortable at cruise.

This may help make the process of choosing exhaust a less expensive one.

Go with straight pipes.
They only seem loud when you are sitting on top of them.
