Don, that seat looks sweet. Can't you modify it some how.

I'm certain it could be done but these seats are on limited edition bikes and finding one would be difficult and/or cost prohibitive. The seats of yesteryear that these retro seats represent can be found but good ones are rare and expensive.

An Air Hawk will set you up higher and be more comfortable also.[/QUOTE

Good suggestion. My concern is the cushion restricting movement while riding. The stock seat has enough comfort for my needs but I believe higher would lessen the effort of getting on and off my trike. Sometimes it takes very little to make a huge differences. A few years ago we replaced the foam in the seat of a living room recliner which resulted in me sitting about an inch higher. The difference was dramatic. and made standing from a seated position much more normal. I know an extra inch in height won't necessarily make getting on and off my Freewheeler easier but I'm eager to try! The Sundowner specific to the Freewheeler would maintain the stock factory look of my trike and raise me up an inch. However, the cost of a new Sundowner would require much greater justification to my CFO. I am hoping someone has a seat PN52000183 on a shelf after they upgraded to a Mustang or Corbin and willing to give me a deal!

Check out Mean City Cycles; they have done two seats for me. If delivery is coordinated, turn around is pretty quick. IIRC, I got mine back in a little more than a week. Two of the optons specifially raise seat height but I believe you can custom order any of the offerings and specify a new seat height.
