M3,
How do you support the trike if you want to pull the wheels? Do you also leave it on the lift?

I clamp the front wheel in the vise and for extra safety I run a strap through the front rim and hook to a couple eye hooks. I can then jack up the back and pull the tires while on the lift with no problem. This picture shows the vise, the eye bolts were installed after this picture was taken.

And oldmsocko's TG sure looks purdy settin' on that lift. I'll bet if you could look on the other side, you could see that SE255 cam is ready to be pulled out for a new TW6-6! lol

The majority of the weight being on one side certainly could create you a problem.

If you want a comparison....Here's the Atlas.

It's 51" wide x 101" long. The trike wings are 10.5" wide and included in the 51" measurement. It also has a removable rear panel that makes it easy to change a two wheelers rear tire or you can get under the differential of a trike.

Notice the lift back wheels that do not touch the garage floor. They run on a metal skirt and don't track the concrete. I also added the retractable straps to each front corner. I'll be removing the vise and installing a self locking Condor chock later this fall. Although you can hold a bike up with the kickstand while the trike extensions are on it would just make it easier to lock it in a chock, in my opinion.

I also added three 12x2's as an additional ramp so the muffler tips won't drag on some of the trikes I put on the lift. Most don't but I bolted them to the lift ramp and it's a smoother ride up and down. the picture shows them upside down as I was testing the height. They now have the block under the 12X2 for a smooth transition.

I was really impressed with the pitbull that handled the TG with ease.I would buy the manual rather than the automatic.

I'm curious, what pitbull handled the TG?? I have a pitbull and it will only handle a 2 wheeler.
