Default Sheared sprocket bolts.

Just got back from a 4500 ride to Yellowstone, Rockies, and Sturgis and took the trike to dealer for a little service. They called and told me I had sheared off cleanly all three bolts holding the belt sprocket on. they didn't know how I got home without breaking down. They had to order an entire rear end to put back in it as HD does not just stock the sprocket. Anyone else had problems like this?

Im a bit in the dark here. The rear sprocket is captive in the rear housing with rubber isolaters sperating it from thecompensator bowl. no bolts there.
In the rear axel assemly blow up i can see no combinaton of three bolts.
Do you have any better description of where these three bolt are?

I'm wondering if its the bolts they show on the right side, it sure would be interesting to know what bolts their talking about.

Mike , do you mean the 4 bolts on the right? If so they only hold the reverse ring gear on, but that was my thought also except why would the sprocket be bad?
Could be the service mgn. just throwing some easy reason at the owner

Those are the only ones I could think of without crawling under one and looking around for more.

I still have mine and I will let you crawl under it and look around when you get home.
