I really liked the new color. I saw it in person,on a 2014 tri glide ,in the sun, in Lexington Ky at Man O War Harley Davidson. The metallic flake in the paint really stands out in the bright sun, I liked it so much I'm trading in my 2011 street glide trike for one just like it and should be in any day, can't wait to get my hands on mine real soon.
When you get it, would love to see photos! I'm just not able to justify trading in a 3 year old ride that's running well... But I may look into getting ours custom painted.
We were at a dealer for a charity run today and they had a Road King on the floor. The Perl paint is awesome. But as we were checking it out noticed that the front fender is just cream color no Perl. Thought it was just me but several other people noticed it too.
I think it is a color that you either like it right away or hate it right away. I liked it but still bought the Mysterious Red Sunglo/Blackened Cayenne Sunglo. I think it's the best of all the colors for 2014.
I like that color combination ---- It's kind of old school. I remember seeing Servi cars done up like that. Also some of the dressers in the 70's were done in a similar color scheme.
I like the sand color, but the brown with the black fairing/seat clashes for me. If they dod a brown seat and faux woodgrain fairing then it would look stunning.
Now if Harley released a trike in only the sand color, I would definitely consider it.
i purchased the same bike last summer. Today , one of my saddle bags flew off the bike and got pretty scuffed up. Harley doesn't have the color part number on their database. i am going to have to have it matched. Hopefully it can come close. My bike was spotless til today.
