I always wanted to, but held onto my wallet. But this time my speakers stopped working and I could only hear through my helmet. Sent it off to Iron Cross Audio. I had suffered vibration damage. Had it converted to blue since it was all tore apart. Gauges are blue with orange needles. Sent the speedo/tach to the folks recommended by Iron Cross. All good work. Small gauges can be done by owner. Pretty simple. Very happy all in all. Oh ya, for the record, BigBlue is a 2012.

Installed some Custom One-Off Slip-ons on the TG today. Started it up and it sounded good. Did not ride it...too busy.

Tomorrow I will be riding it to the shop in the high 20's*. Brrrrr.

Will see how they sound and perform at speed and under a load.

When you get your wheels done, please post pics.
I would like to see them in black!
I have gone as far as to black tape things.
To give the appearance of being coated.
It gives you the choice between chrome or black.

lol....dunno...they are quite a bit quieter, but I am still going to tweak them some more. She may still want to wear ear plugs.

If it snows before you get a warm day, there's still going to be salt on the roads (it doesn't just dissapear). So you might as well just keep it in the garage until after the first 2 or 3 heavy rains in the spring - that is, if you are really worried about the salt.

I took care of that problem by spraying my bike with S100 Corrosion Protectant. I can ride all winter salt or no salt and not have a problem. Haven't had a problem in over 5 years. Bike still looks like it came off the showroom floor.

Spend a few $$$ and do yours, then you won't have to worry if you get a nice day or two. What can it hurt?

Installed the VTwinGoodies floorboard extension kit this morning. I had a large piece of cardboard on the carport floor to protect me from the cold concrete while I did the install.
