2016 RG special, had dealer put on high output slip ons. Rode bike home with only 27 miles on bike the exit ends of the mufflers turned from chrome to yellowish tint. Is this normal for these pipes? Kinda pisses me off spending $600 on slipons to have this happen.

 

The High Outputs I had on my Ultra did the same thing. It can be cleaned off but it's a pita.

 

I have a different brand and mine turned gold.If the body discolors then that would chap my back side.

 

I wanted to add to this that the slip ons started to turn blue where they connect to the header. I've contacted then regarding warranty. Started with a few hundred miles and with only 1037 miles on bike and them it's really pissing me off. Expected better quality. I also noticed the new hi output at my local hd have a flange wielded on them. I guess they've had this issue.
