One of S&S’ most popular grinds, the 509 series is delivers real results without the need to modify other engine components to get the job done. Originally engineered to work with Twin Cam 88 engines, these cams provide a nice bump in performance from 1,000 to 4,500 RPM – right where you can get the most out of it. The extra mid-range punch is great around town, or whenever you need to get it moving on the highway. With no need to pull the heads, a competent mechanic can easily install these cams using the included components and complete installation instructions.

S&S 509 chain drive cams work with all of the stock valvetrain components on 2000-2006 Touring and Softail models and 2000-2005 Dyna models. They can also be fitted to 1999 Twin Cam engines when used with a good steel drive sprocket.
