There just wouldn't be enough room for the trilight and the plate hole without having to make cut/fabrication to the OEM fender.

that's why you should make a replacement fender and not a cover

Now if we were going to have a place for the plate it would end up being one that protrudes out instead of inward. That would and still is an option for us but we have to figure out the placement first.

I think ALOT of people would like to see that! I know I would.

One other thing I would like to see is a fender (or fender cover ) that would allow us to use HD factory accesories in the solo position. Like my TP. I know there are fender covers that allow for a two up position, but a solo would be bad @$$!

That would be ideal but from the price it would cost for the reproduction mold and the cost of the part it just wouldn't be in the price range that we are going for. Making a bad *** rear metal fender would be fun though.

I can understand that, but a replacement metal fender would be ideal! I guess a full fiberglass replacement fender would be the next best thing. The only thing I would worry about would be hairline cracks because of all the vibration. Imagine the weight savings as well. Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe a cover is the best way to go about it.

Now what about being able to use acessories in the solo position?
