Haven't seen a review on the 5x7's. Could they work with the amp from the 902.2 kit? pro's con's???

 

Wow I am way out of the loop. Didn't know about a Road Glide tweeter pod.

 

Mine is installed and sounds great. The service writer at the HD dealership saw them and thought I would like it since i had the Hog Tunes upgraded speakers and amp already. That kind of service is worth paying MSRP for in my opinon. Anyhow, only got to listen to in the garage but appeared to make a significant difference in clarity. Wont know how it sounds while in motion for another month...at least

 

We are waiting for a review from someone who has installed them and gone for a ride. We know you are out there. Post up an objective review for everyone else. No one at the shop Ride a Road Glide...yet.

 

Well I guess I'll know soon enough. It was my birthday and my wife bought both for me. Pods and 5x7's.

Pretty lucky guy and I know it. She's the one who picked up the TTS for X-mas. That blew me away as well.

I'll give it a review once it gets here and can put it in.

In all seriousnes, I would love to get a set but the wallet doesn't allow for that right now. Someday maybe though.

 

Will do. The 5x7's came today and the Tweeter bezel is suppose to get here tomorrow. Once they are here, maybe I'll pop them in this weekend. I won't be able to give the combo a road test for another 3 weeks though.... to much snow, but every year I get the first ride of the year March 21 to 28 without fail.

The 5x7's look alittle different than the other brands There is no adapter ring. It's integrated as one piece. Very solid but not heavy. Very well sealed. Good quality wires to the woofer. The soldered welds on the connectors are well done and more than your average car speaker. Maybe if I get at the install this weekend, I'll snap a couple of pictures and post them up.

Thanks Pez and Susan for getting them out so fast. They were ordered on Monday and got the first box on Thursday from Ontario to Alberta. Great customer service and shipping as usual. Great Birthday present.
