The seat is a Mustang fastback and gives a ton of back support. Is your speedo part of the top clamp, or can it be taken out? If the speedo can be removed from the top clamp, you can take idiot lights out and find a way to mount them as well. A buddy with a sporty took his idiot lights and attached them with double stick tape to his riser or clamp somehow, but I don't have pics.

Where is there is a will to this, there is a way. On my sporty I added the West Coast T-bars as well and mounted the speedo (idiot lights and speedo are 1 piece) with 2 1 1/4" bar clamps. I had the gauge up top at first but then I slid it down to the bottom of the b and you can see it though the down tube portion of the bars. I think it looks cleaner like this.
On top

At the bottom

Those are 8" bars. Here is how your arms sit with these. These bars are extremely comfortable, and great for lane splitting due to how narrow they are.

I got the 8''s as this is my wife's ride and I want her to be comfortable. If it were mine I would have gotten 12"'s. I am 5'9". The 8"'s are lower than I would choose any day of the week.
