Just came back from 800 miles up to around Hancock, NY. I just changed from the Michelin's to a set of Avon Cobra Chromes... OMG, what a difference. I wont say its flickable, but rolling through the twistiness was never like this. I did manage to keep up with a Ducati Diavel on the Hawks Nest rioad Hawk's Nest Road, a twisting and rolling breathtaking ride in NY (dangerousroads.org)

The last two times I rode the Night Rod it did some sputtering, like it wasn't getting fuel or the air fuel mixture, properly. I put some Seafoam in it, ran it a bit, and it's been sitting for a few weeks. Today I took it out for a spin. I made it 98 miles before it sputtered. 😪 I was just a half a mile from home when it did it, so that's a plus. There was a 1/4 tank of fuel when it did it, but last time it had 3/4 a tank of fuel...so I'm confused. I filled it up, fired it up, and it ran fine. I sure don't trust it enough to venture off very far.😞 On the plus side, it ran awesome for 97 miles and the weather was near perfect.
