Default New to motorcycles.

Hello, I'm 29 years old and i have never owned a motorcycle. I have ridden before but that must have been 10 years ago on my fathers Harley. I love motorcycles, i just have never been able to get one myself. I'm at the point now that i can get one but i don't know if i should get something used or new. I'm currently looking at the new 13 iron 883. Do you guys thing that's a good choice, or should I be looking at something else. Keep in mind that I'm not too tall, 5,7 and 160lb. Anyway, i hope i get to know everybody here and have a good afternoon.

I'd say go used unless money is really not an issue for you. There's lots of low mile bikes that are out there that are only a couple of years old. For some reason it seems that not everybody that buys a bike actually buys it to ride it. You will get a cheaper price and possibly some extras if you are patient and go the used route.

Greetings...welcome...enjoy...ride-on!!!

FWIW, with your limited riding experience, take a BRC (Basic Rider Course) first & then shop for bikes. Might want to get a cheap starter bike for the learning phase & then upgrade to your dream bike later...JMO.
