Hello all,


Will an non-ABS 16" mag from a stock '08 Tour Glide fit my '01 Electra Glide Classic without mods? If not, what needs to be modified? Thanks!!

"'08 Tour Glide"...Do you mean the more modern name "Road Glide"?


Regardless, If it's definitely from a 08 Touring bike...

-Remove both 25mm ID bearings and center spacer sleeve. You should also find a bearing shim underneath the LEFT bearing (aka "Primary Bearing").

-Discard all the above parts

-Install 2000-07 1"ID bearings and center spacer sleeve (NO bearing shim).
**1. Install LEFT side bearing (aka "Primary Bearing") first.
**2. Insert center spacer sleeve
**3. Install Right side bearing until it just touches the center spacer

-Install your 01 11.5" rotors (in place of 08 11.8" rotors, if applicable)
