if so ,do you think its tires? there is also an alignment procedure that should be checked as in how the wheels track in relation to each other.

I wouldn’t. I did hear they were retooling their line in July to correct the manufacturing issue, but that’s all here say. I did keep the rear, just in case...

Even without decel, I get this wobble. It's not difficult to control (or even apparent) with hands resting on the grips, but I can't turn the bars loose at any speed for more than a few seconds. Even one-handed is fine, but there's no hands-free riding for me.

Ill have to check mine, i seem to recall, with the stock Dunlops, that my Sportster was good hands free, the Dyna not so much. After the new tires the Dyna got better but there is still something there as far as wobble.
I rode past a guy in the passing lane on the highway hands free on the sportster for example, say speeds of at least 50 mph.. I don't know if id do it on the Dyna again this was on stock HD dunlop rubbe, the tires have been replaced since. American Elites

i feel your pain!
the most i got out of a tire (many brands) was around 5k and smoked one in just over 3k. the stock original got the most so far, a little over 5k. i am trying a commander 2 at present and have over 5k but doesn't look like it will go much further. this is my last try as i am going over to the DARKSIDE. probably install a austone taxi tire.
i do push the limits and engine brake a lot, even barking the tires. so i guess that throttle action does play a part in tire wear, who guessed????

I wasn’t kidding when I said “bad luck” - I checked steering head bearing per the book, and I was on the right side of the scale. So no loose bearing as the cause. I then called Metzler/Pirelli and the tech guy I spoke with said without hesitation, have the dealer replace the tire under our warranty. Ugh. So I ordered a new tire.
