Default Will 17" rims fit 2002 EGC

Howdy,
I took off my 17" front rim from my 2017 Ultra. My '02 Classic has 16" rim.
Will the 17" rim and tire fit on my 2002 Classic?

Any modifications needed?

Thanks

You`ll need to change to 1" bearings to fit your `02 axle ( brg 9247 vs 9252)
I strongly suspect the rotors will not work with your calipers ( 11.5" vs 11.8" )

You'll need to change out that ABS bearing to a STD bearing ... ((2) New brgs)

Get a 2008-later 25mm axle and wheel spacers and it's plug n play ... (other than rotors or calipers)
OR
Use 1" OE# 9247 bearings (as 88 mentioned above) and custom wheel spacers. The wider bearings will protrude slightly.
OR
Use 1" aftermarket bearings (same width as the 25mm bearings) and use semi custom wheel spacers

You'll also need 08-later Brembo Calipers for the OE Impeller / Enforcer 11.8" rotors (the 2002 use 11.5")
OR
Aftermarket Impeller / Enforcer 11.5" rotors to work with your 2002 Calipers

BTW, smaller rotors that fit the 17" Impeller wheel are available, which would allow you to retain your existing 2002 calipers.

Looks like 2 of us knew they were available.

Don’t assume that everyone who replies to the OP reads every reply by others. 😉

Default And thank you

Howdy,
OK.
I read every post.
I did order the new bearings , non abs, for that enforcer rim..

Now,
I like the idea of keeping brake calipers.
The rim does not current have rotors on the rim.
I need to get new rotors.
I think I understand I can get smaller rotors and keep the original calipers.

Where can I get the smaller size rotors?

Here’s a good start to at least show you what you should be looking for.

The word you are looking for is "wheel" of which the "rim" is a part of it.
