I tried several attempts but due to lighting and angle I couldn't get a great shot, but I'm what I'm trying to illustrate here is I've seen a few pictures of these holes drilled and their location varied from different people. If you put your hand on the back side of this cutout you will feel the starter housing begins to form in this area so if you stray (fwd) or left further in the cutout area than the diagram shows, you could drill into the starter housing. Be Careful!
