I flushed the motor as well as I could and found an open box deal on the Fueling oil pump so tomorrow I’m going to install it again. I will be following the procedure for centering the pump and cam plate. I ordered some rock outs but I think I’ll save them for my ported heads which are stuck in the hurricane zone. I’ll probably put the new tappets in though even though I just put new tappets in before the pump fiasco. Thank you all for the help and encouragement.
